The number that changes how you think about pricing in Greer: the Real Estate Data Aggregator counted a median sale price of $441,500 in ZIP 29650 for the three months ending July 31, 2026. That is up 16.8% from the same months in 2025. Inventory in that ZIP rose 14.5% at the same time. Prices went up while supply went up too. That is worth knowing before you pick a number.

For context on the broader picture, the Federal Housing Finance Agency reported U.S. home prices rose 2.6% year over year through July 2026. The 29650 gain was more than six times that national figure.

What this means if you are buying or selling

In 29650, prices rose sharply even as more homes came to market. That tells sellers their price has room, but it also means buyers have more options than they did a year ago. In 29651 and 29687, sellers are still getting close to list, but homes are sitting a few days longer. Small price adjustments matter more when buyers have time to think.

Nationally, Realtor.com reported that 20.8% of listings took a price cut in September 2026, the highest share since October 2022. Mortgage rates climbed above 7% for the first time since January 2025, according to Realtor.com. That is the backdrop buyers and sellers are working in.

In short
  1. ZIP 29650 saw the strongest price growth, up 16.8%, even with more inventory.
  2. ZIP 29651 saw prices rise 5.6% but fewer homes sold.
  3. ZIP 29687 saw more sales but a small price dip.
  4. All three ZIPs are taking a few more days to sell than a year ago.
  5. One street can read very differently from the ZIP as a whole, so confirm the numbers for your specific address before you price or make an offer.
